When I first heard that NAVICOR won this honor, I let out a deep sigh of relief. It’s rewarding to be recognized when you put all that you can into your work. That’s not only a good feeling for me; I know that what I accomplish can aid physicians and patients as they navigate the stages of cancer care.
As an Associate Art Director, I pitch in on various design projects and learn a ton from a group of talented creatives. My coworkers notice that I’m always smiling—that’s because I love coming to work every day. I feel close to my colleagues; it’s amazing how we can maintain a great culture as we continue to add new team members and grow the agency.
The work we do really hits home for me because my dad is living with pancreatic cancer. Every day is a struggle, but I push myself because I feel like I’m doing this job for him. Last year, NAVICOR supported several cancer fund-raisers, including the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network PurpleStride walk that involved my whole family. When the company you work for shows that type of unwavering support for your family, it goes a long way to encourage loyalty and dedication.
As I approach my 2-year anniversary, I look forward to strengthening partnerships with our clients, getting to know new colleagues, and solving different challenges. The sky is the limit at NAVICOR with the attention that this award brings!
